I usually hate writing, but since it was something I actually enjoy talking about I think I liked it more.  I am not certain about coming back to UB next year, but I might consider doing the newspaper at my school now.

So next time you go into a store, don’t start freaking out about the price.  You just have to be a smart shopper, and you will look cute without paying the price. =)

I have like three bikinis, so I am for sure bringing those, I definitely need to work on my tan.   I’ll probably pack some sundresses, this super cute outfit I just bought at Hollister (picnic shorts, haha!), and just some cute summery clothes I guess. Any suggestions?

I loved Amanda Moore’s dress, it was red with a one shoulder top, it was so pretty!  Taylor’s dress was also very pretty, I think she will look great in it.   Chelcee, Alexis, Cass, and a few others brought their dresses out and they were all so pretty!  The ball is going to be a blast, and I know all of the ladies will be beautiful.

So next time you put on a pair of shorts, make sure they are an appropriate length.  I am not saying they have to be grandma shorts, just make sure that all of your goods aren’t hanging out. Lol!

I think it’s time we all accept the way we look, there are so many tricks to do to keep you looking your best.  (i.e. I am short so I do not wear wide-leg jeans, or I have little boobs so I wear shirts with a band around the waist. lmao!)  Never let anyone make you feel down because you don’t look ‘mainstream’, and never make fun of anyone because they don’t.  We are all people on the inside.  So just be comfortable with who you are, and if you aren’t comfortable with the way your body is maybe you could try wearing clothes that show off your best points.   And if that doesn’t work, a shower and good hygiene work just as well. =)

They key to looking your best with making make-up is not wearing too much, anything can be worn it just has to be in the right proportion. 

So lets start with foundation.  You need just the right color for your skin, makeup lines aren’t attractive.  Now since foundation is kind of expensive I have a trick, sometimes I am tanner and sometimes I am not so try to buy something in between and blend the jaw line in with a paper towel.  This usually does the trick.  I am not really a fan of Cover Girl foundation anymore, I use the Loreal true blend and I absolutely love it!  The new Neutrogena Healthy Skin is something I might try next.  I put my foundation on with a brush, and it is the most effective way I think, just make sure to wash the brush with face wash at least once every three to four days.  For the really bad pimples I like to use concealer, I use Cover Girl concealer and it works pretty well.  Using powder usually takes care of oily skin, and I think all powders are about the same.  The loose powder is my favorite, just make sure to keep that brush clean as well.

Eyeliner, the thing that can make or break your face. Lol!  Myself, I am not a fan of liquid eyeliner, I have never really tried but for me it is too much.  Using different color eyeliners is definitely okay!  My eyeliner is purple, but if you want to use green, pink, blue, black, brown, whatever I think it all looks great.  Just don’t use too much, the little wings on the side of the eyes are sometimes cute, just don’t over use them either.  Using too much eyeliner can make your face appear smaller, so that’s a no-no.

I love eyeshadow!  Wear it to match an outfit, your eyes, wear it because it is your favorite color!  That is one thing you can really play up when doing your make-up.  My eyes are green so I really like the purples, pinks, greens, and browns.  Almay has the best eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara triplet for your color eyes.  That is what I use, but any brand is fine.  Watch throughout the day though, because I get eye shadow lines on my eyelids a lot.

Mascara, the most important part about doing your make-up.  It really makes your eyes pop.  Using the darker colors is probably best, mine is a dark purple, but I would probably stick with brown and black.  My eyelashes are really short, so I like to get the volumizing mascara.  The longer the lashes the better!  I don’t put mascara on my bottom lashes because if I sweat then I have a mascara line.  Make sure to replace your mascara every three months, or it gets grose.

To bring light to your face a favorite of mine is  bronzer.  Brush it over your cheek bones,  hairline, and jaw line and the light will hit your face perfectly.  I really like the bronzer wheels with blush and bronzer mixed.  Blush is just as good to wear, just brush it on your cheeks though.  There is such a thing as too much blush, or too pink blush!  So don’t wear so much that you like a seven-year-old did your make-up with her doll make-up. Lol!

My speech is about my dad, he is like my best friend.  So I hope he likes it because I worked really hard on it.   I really love him and I hope he knows how much I appreciate him.

My favorite colors are pink and yellow, so my dress will probably be one of those colors.  However I am open to all options.   I will probably curl my own hair and do my own makeup, but I think it would be fun to do someone else’s.   My shoes will probably be flip-flops because I can’t dance in heels, and I  totally know how to bust a move. haha!

I am feeling some new shorts and tanks, maybe some dresses because I love wearing them.  I already have like a zillion pairs of flip-flops and sandals so I doubt I will be buying them, and as for bathing suits I already own like five and I do not even like to swim. lol  I just think they are so cute though. =)  I’ll write back Tuesday and let you know how it went.
